Control Channel Data Rate

Control channel data rate determines the rate used on the Control Channel.

The access terminal determines the control channel data rate based on MAC Index of the Control Channel packet preamble (see MAC Index for more information).

Control channel data rate can be changed at any time.

Operating Considerations

The test set does not support Enhanced Control Channel MAC Protocol and only supports Default Control Channel MAC Protocol for physical layer subtype 2. See Current Physical Layer Subtype and Associated Protocols .
