RTC MAC Flows

RTC MAC Flows

Last updated: July 22, 2008

This section is only applicable to the lab application.

This setting defines the number of RTCMAC3 or RTCMAC4 Flows the test set will make active (including the signaling flow Flow00) when the following conditions are met:

The value you can set for this setting is from 2 to 5. When a session is open, changing this setting results in a session re-negotiation, the value you set can not be higher than the current value for RTCMAC Last AT Negotiated Maximum Active Flows which is negotiated during every session negotiation for RTCMAC3 MaxMACFlows: MaxNumActiveMACFLows attribute. Otherwise the setting will be rejected with an error "Number of subtype 3 reverse traffic channel MAC flows cannot be set greater than negotiated number of maximum active subtype 3 reverse traffic channel MAC flows." When the Session Application Type is Test Application this setting is not accessible and the number of RTC MAC Flows is fixed to 3, when the Session Application Type is Default Packet Application this setting is fixed to 2.

Note that when a session is open, changing this setting results in a session re-negotiation (see Session Negotiate State for details).
