GSM TA

This command sets/queries whether or not the test set will send Packet System Information (PSI) messages on the PACCH. This setting is only applicable when the Operating Mode is set to Active Cell ( Serving Cell GSM, GPRS, or EGPRS). See Active Cell Operating Mode for more details.

This command has three settings:

  • Auto - PSI messages are transmitted on the PACCH except during SRB Loopback data connections.
  • ON - PSI messages are always transmitted on the PACCH.
  • OFF - PSI messages are never transmitted on the PACCH

This command has three settings:

  • Auto - SI messages encapsulated in Packet Serving Cell SI messages are transmitted on the PACCH except during SRB Loopback data connections.
