Accelerating Design Validation for 5G New Radio
Technical Webinar - 5G New Radio
5G New Radio devices need to deliver higher throughput and lower latency connections, and support a large number of machines communicating with each other. Using millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequencies with wider bandwidths, scalable numerologies, and MIMO with beam steering will be no small feat. This webinar describes key aspects of the 5G New Radio Release-15 standard and implications for design and test. It walks through solutions based on early-to-market case studies for mmWave signal quality, MIMO/beam steering calibration, and over-the-air tests, enabling RF/ mmWave designers to find new insights from the latest trends in 5G. Register.
three learnings of this webinar
- Impacts of 5G scalable numerology on 5G designs
- Achieving signal quality with mmWave, high bandwidth signals
- Comparing over-the-air testing techniques
Speaker
Sheri DeTomasiSheri is the 5G New Radio Solutions Lead. In her 30 years at Keysight, HP, and Agilent Technologies, Sheri has held a variety of technical positions in engineering, quality, business development, product marketing and management. In 2015, Sheri led the business teams to deliver Keysight’s first 5G reference solutions for channel sounding and millimeter wave signal analysis. Sheri uses her domain knowledge to communicate how Keysight addresses the challenges associated with 5G and has authored technical articles and papers about 5G Channel Sounding, MIMO and beamforming, multi-channel test, as well as other wireless communications topics.
