About Downlink Channel Parameters (NB-IoT)

The Downlink Channel Properties dialog contains power boost and channel assignment controls for downlink frame transmission.

Power Boost - Sets the power boost level for each downlink physical channel or signals. NPDSCH power boost is separately controlled under Channel Configuration.

• NPSS - Narrowband Primary Synchronization Signal
• NPRS - Narrowband Positioning Reference Signal
• NSSS - Narrowband Secondary Synchronization Signal
• NPDCCH - Narrowband Physical Downlink Control Channel
• NPBCH - Narrowband Broadcast Signal
• CRS - Cell Reference Signal

Subframe Channel Assignments - Assigns a downlink physical channel to each subframe by index (0:19). Some subframes have fixed channel assignments per the NB-IoT standard, as shown in the illustration below. The remaining subframes can be assigned either NPDCCH or NPDSCH.
