RCE (EVM) (802.16 OFDM)

RCE (EVM), or Relative Constellation Error, is the RMS level of the Error Vector Magnitude, averaged over all subcarriers and all detected OFDM symbols. RCE (EVM) is computed in dB and as a percentage (%rms).

The 802.16 OFDM standard uses the term "RCE" (Relative Constellation Error) instead of "EVM" (Error Vector Magnitude). The names are different, but the computed values are exactly the same.
