Input Menu

The Input menu selects and configures one or more input channels and selects the data source, as described below:

Channels

Select the input channel configuration.

 

 

Analog...

Set the input channel parameters: Logical Channel, Range, Coupling, Input Impedance, Reference Impedance, Connection Type, and Mixer Level.

   

Digital...

Set the digital input properties for a logic analyzer.

 

 

Capture...

Set the time-domain parameters for fixed-length and variable-length segmented time-captures.

 

 

Trigger...

Select the type of trigger signal to use for an input channel (non-Power Spectrum measurements only)

 

 

Gate Trigger...

Set up a gate trigger when making Power Spectrum measurements.

   

Playback Trigger...

Set up a trigger signal for recordings.

   

External Mixer...

Configure the external mixer when an External Mixer input channel is selected.

 

 

Extensions...

The Extensions dialog is used to configure the measurement hardware platform (front-end). The Extenions dialog contains parameters specific to the current measurement platform, see About Extensions.

   

User Correction...

Configure corrections to compensate for external devices connected to the input of the measurement hardware (Data From Hardware).

   

Playback User Correction...

Configure corrections to apply to a recorded signal during playback (Data From Recording).

   

Data From

Select whether the measurement's time data source is Hardware or Recording.

   

Recording...

Open the Recording dialog box to configure recording length, set start and stop times, and view information about the recording.

Select Switch

Select a switch configuration. This is the same control as Utilities > Hardware > Switch.

Switch...

Select whether the measurement's time data source is Hardware or Recording.
