Using Standard Setups/Presets (802.16 OFDM)

Using Standard Setups/Presets selects an 802.16 OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. standard preset configuration. Use Preset to Standard to specify the appropriate Nominal Bandwidth.

The 802.16 OFDM Demodulator must be specified before these Standard Presets are available. There are 18 available Standard Presets available with bandwidths ranging from 1.25 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second. to 28 MHz. Selecting one of these Standard Preset bandwidths will set the value of some parameters.
