To generate signals using the N7649B Test Case Manager software, you must have properly configured software, instrument, and PC, as described in the following tables.

1. With some exceptions, Option WFP can be used in lieu of this option to perform tests that use waveform files, but this option is required to use the file created with the Export Signal Studio Setting... function.
2.Required for Clause 8 tests that use a real-time signal and can be used for tests that require Options HFP and SFP.
3. Only one connectivity option is required. Select the option that matches your instrument.

1. For Clause 7 tests, wider baseband bandwidth option is recommended for single signal generator operation that combines wanted and interferer as delta frequency is limited by baseband bandwidth.
2.The Option 632 is for 2x Rx Antenna and Option 634 is for 4x Rx Antenna.
3. This is the only option required when using this signal generator as an RF upconvertor for the N5106A.
4. When using with the N5106A for MIMO tests, the number of signal generators used needs to match the number of Rx antennas on the eNB.
5. All instrument options required when using with an external fader.
6. This option required for only one signal generator when all of the following conditions are true:
an external fader is being used instead of the N5106A
the Clause 8 test involves closed loop
