FAQ: How does the 66300 series make current and voltage measurements?

The 66300 series have a single (internal A/D) measurement system (4096 points maximun) that toggles from measuring current to measuring voltage. This means that Voltage and Current measurements cannot be made simultaneously. For most battery simulation applications, this toggling A/D system is generally used to make multiple current measurement samples and infrequent voltage samples.
