This command makes a Spectral Mask (SMAS) measurement and retrieves the results.
This measurement is only applicable to signals modulated using orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). The modulation format is set using [SENSe:]RADIo:STANdard[:SELect]:WLAN[?].
Queries the Spectral Mask measurement results.
Query Range: The integer value you specify defines the type of results returned:
0: Returns an array of power points relative to the highest measured power. The length is determined by the span setting using CALCulate:SMASk:SPAN[?]. Results are floating points in dB.
1 or not specified: Returns the following comma-separated scalar results:
Margin, which is the difference between the spectral mask and the measured Power Spectral Density (PSD). When the reference level is set to automatic, the peak power is analyzed. Therefore, a 0 margin is a pass. A negative value (for example, -0.2 dB) is the worst difference between the mask and PSD and indicates how bad a fail is. A floating point in dB.
Maximum Power Density: Maximum power in any 1 MHz wide portion of measured spectrum: a floating point in W/MHz
Number of Spectrum Points: a floating point
Occupied bandwidth (OBW) of the signal: a floating point in Hz
OBW High Frequency: The high frequency limit of that portion of the analyzed signal's spectrum that falls within the signal's occupied bandwidth: a floating point in Hz
OBW Low Frequency: The low frequency limit of that portion of the analyzed signal's spectrum that falls within the signal's occupied bandwidth: a floating point in Hz
Reference Level: The reference level used for measurement. If the Reference Level is set to -999.0, then this result returns the Power Spectral Density of the measured signal, calculated between (center frequency – 9 MHz ) and (centre frequency + 9 MHz ): a floating point in dB/MHz
2: Returns an array of frequency points. The length is determined by the span setting using CALCulate:SMASk:SPAN[?]. Results are floating points in Hz.
Test Set Requirements: N8300A Wireless Networking Test Set Version A.02 and above
Example:
