This command sets the NITZ Information to be immediately sent to the mobile when:

  • The Call Connection State is Connected. Note that the NITZ is sent via MM Information message in this case. But there is an exception that if the DUT is DTM capable and DTM is enabled in the test set, the setting `NITZ Transportation in DTM' CALL[:CELL]:NITZone:SEND:TRANsport[:SELected] determines which message is used to transport NITZ information.
  • The Data Connection is AUTO and the Data Connection State is Attached, Transferring or PDP active. Note that the NITZ is sent via GMM Information message in this case.

  • SMS-SUBMIT during a mobile originated Point-to-Point SMS over GPRS
or immediately before

  • SMS-DELIVER during a mobile terminated Point-to-Point SMS over GPRS
