Function

GSM TA

The command has no query form.

This command sets ARFCN for a specified range of USSs in the following order: <Band Parameter>, <ARFCN>.

The <Band Parameter> is optional and specifies whether ARFCNs common to both the DCS and PCS bands should be treated as DCS or PCS, DCS or PCS has no meaning for ARFCNs corresponding to other bands. If the band parameter is not specified, DCS is assumed.

See Note1 for more information on how to use this command.

See UTS Parameters for additional information.

GFDTune:UPLink:TSEQuence:ARFCn

Function

GSM TA

The command has no query form.

This command sets ARFCN for all the USSs in a UTS in the following order: <Band Parameter>, <ARFCN>. The number of element pairs in the command is given by the UTS Step Count . For example, if the UTS Step Count is 4, then the command should follow with four Band and ARFCN pairs.

Note that the <Band Parameter> is optional and specifies whether ARFCNs common to both the DCS and PCS bands should be treated as DCS or PCS, DCS or PCS has no meaning for ARFCNs corresponding to other bands. If this parameter is not specified, DCS is assumed.

See Note2 for more information on how to use this command.

See UTS Parameters for additional information.

Requirements

GSM/GPRS/
EGPRS TA

Revision: A.08 and above, with the required feature license.

GSM/GPRS EGPRS LA

Revision: E.02 and above.

Programming Example

OUTPUT 714;"GFDTune:UPLink:TSEQuence:SSTep 10"
! Sets the number of Uplink Sequence Steps to 10.

Note1

This command sets/queries the UTS parameters for one or several USSs. In the setting form, the first two parameters in the command indicate the first and last sequence step to which the following parameters apply. The subsequent parameters are specified as an array of values, where each element of the array correspond to a USS. The test set compensates by using the value of the last element in the array when there are too few elements and by ignoring settings if there are too many elements in the array. In the querying form, the first parameter indicates the result of which sequence step is returned and the second parameter is omitted. You can only query the UTS parameters for one USS at a time.

Note2

This command sets/queries the UTS parameters on a per UTS basis. The parameters in the command are specified as an array of values, where each element of the array corresponds to a USS. The number of elements that should be specified in the array is given by the UTS Step Count . If these numbers contradict (that is, the UTS Step Count does not equal the number of array elements specified for the array), the test set compensates by using the value of the last element in the array when there are too few elements and by ignoring settings if there are too many elements in the array.
