How Do I Use the 34.121 Preset Call Configurations?

This section is only applicable to the lab application or feature-licensed test application.

  1. Press the CALL SETUP key.
  2. Set Operating Mode ( F1 ) to Cell Off .
  3. Select 34.121 Preset Call Configs ( F11 ).
  4. Select the preset configuration with which you wish to start.
  5. Select Yes when asked to " Overwrite Current Parameters? ".
  6. Set Operating Mode ( F1 ) to Active Cell .
  7. Set any other parameters needed to allow your UE to camp to the test set and establish an HSDPA or HSPA RB test mode connection.
  8. Power on the UE and wait for it to register with the test set.
  9. Originate an HSDPA or HSPA RB test mode connection.
  10. Initiate the measurement(s) needed to perform the selected 34.121 test(s) and perform the test(s).
  11. To move between 34.121 sub-tests while on a call, use the Transport Channel Reconfiguration to change the parameters that differ between the sub-tests. The presets configure the test set for 3GPP TS 34.121 Table C.10.1.4 sub-test 3 (HSDPA) or Table C.11.1.3 sub-test 1 (HSPA).
  12. To move between the 34.121 preset call configurations while on a call, use the Transport Channel Reconfiguration to change the parameters that differ between the configurations. See 34.121 Preset Call Configurations for more information.
