About Spectral Emissions Mask

Spectral Emissions Mask is part of PowerSuite (89601PSMC), which also includes Adjacent Channel Power measurement capability. Spectral Emissions Mask (SEM) is similar to the spectral emissions mask measurement found in the Keysight X-Series Measurement Applications software.

The Spectral Emissions Mask measurement provides a more convenient and specific mechanism to perform standard specific (or flexible) SEM measurements. While the manual method of Using Power Spectrum to Manually Make an SEM Measurement will still work as-is, the new Spectral Emissions Mask measurement type can do this in one button click. The VSA software includes a 802.11be 160 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second. demo signal (File > Recall > Recall Demo... > SEM_80211BE_160MHz.htm) to familiarize you with this feature. To make your own SEM measurement, start with one of the provided QuickSetups, customize it to work for your SEM measurement, and capture it as a new Quick Setup. To understand the basics of SEM measurements, you may first want go through the steps of manually making an SEM measurement.
