Includes pilot tracking in Error Vector Magnitude (EVMError vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format.) calculations and adjusts constellation diagrams.

Pilot Tracking, when selected, causes the VSA to analyze the predicted locations of the pilot symbols on the sync/pilot locus versus the actual pilot symbol locations and add phase/amplitude corrections to better position the actual pilot symbols at the predicted locations. You can view this feature visually by displaying a subcarrier constellation trace and then selecting and clearing the Pilot Tracking parameter. Similarly, display an EVM calculation, and then select and clear the Pilot Tracking parameter to see the effects of pilot error on the EVM calculation.
