p/8 D8PSK (Digital Demod)

p/8 D8PSK (Differential 8 PSK) is a differential modulation format where the bits for a given symbol are determined by the phase change from the previous symbol. p/8 D8PSK is the same as D8PSK with a p/8 rotation between each symbol. This leads to a physical 16PSK constellation. Due to this rotation the ideal trajectory between symbols never crosses through zero.
