When the
Session Application Type
is set to
Alternate EMPA
and the physical layer protocol is subtype 2, the test set supports to set up multiple PDN connections (up to three) with the DUT simultaneously with each connection set to through IPv4, IPv6 or IPv4+IPv6.
Up to three PDN connections can be set up between the test set and the DUT. Each PDN connection requires a pair of DUT IP settings:

DUT IP Address

. If more than one PDN connection is to be set up, they are supposed to be set up in sequence. For example, you can not jump over to set up PDN connection 3 without PDN connection 2 connected.
When multiple PDN connections are set up successfully, the IP addresses (either IPv4, IPv6 or both), IP version and the PDN-ID in use for each PDN connection are shown in the
DUT IP Addressing (Internal PDSN)
screen, see the picture below.
