PvT Off Analysis Time (TEDS)

Default: Pre/Post = 5 ms for Normal Uplink, Random Access, and Control Uplink
Pre/Post = 0 ms for Normal Downlink

Range: Pre: 0.0 to 15mSec

Enter the length (in time) of a signal you want to view before (Pre) and after (Post) the burst. These "pre" time and "post" time are the times before and after the burst limits that are analyzed in the PvT analysis and the ACP PvT analysis.

This is also the region that the PvT "off" values are measured in. A transmitted signal has a transition period that includes the ramp-up of the first burst, a burst duration period (from the middle of the first symbol to the middle of the last symbol), and a transition period that includes the ramp-down of the last burst. The off periods are before the ramp-up transition and after the ramp-down transition.

The following table shows the transition and bursts duration times in symbols:

Random Access

Control Uplink

Since Normal Downlink is not bursted, there is no need to change the Pre/Post values from the default (0 mSec).
