 Activate/De-activate the Secondary Serving Cell

During a DC-HSDPA call setup, besides the serving cell, the secondary serving cell information is also communicated with the UE, and the UE is told to monitor the common channels and traffic channels of the secondary serving cell. Once a DC-HSDPA connection is established, you can activate or de-activate the secondary serving cell using HS-SCCH orders (See "Send Activate Secondary Cell" on page 1 and "Deactivate Secondary Cell" on page 1 ). Moreover, you can set to de-activate the secondary serving cell from either the serving cell or the secondary serving cell. Once the secondary serving cell is deactivated under this condition, the test set will still maintains the secondary serving cell and transmits data on the common and traffic channels of the secondary serving cell, while all HS-SCCH channels are transmitted using an alternate H-RNTI.

If a DC-HSDPA connection is released, there will be no RF power from the secondary serving cell.

When the RF Output Port is set to RF In/Out . RF signals of both the serving cell and the secondary serving cell are from the RF IN/OUT port. When RF Output Port is set to RF Out Only , RF signals of both the serving cells are from the RF OUT ONLY port.
