Probe Power Step

Probe power step (called Power Step in C.S0024), sets the increase in power between access probes in an access probe sequence.

Probe power step is sent in the Access Parameters message (see TAP/ETAP Data Connection Call Flow ) as a representation of 0.5 dB increments (0 dB to + 7.5 dB is represented by 0 to 15).

Probe power step can be changed at any time and will be sent out in the next overhead message.
