This section is only applicable to the feature-licensed lab application or test application.
There are three measurement modes for the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality measurement: Uplink Audio, Downlink Audio and Both (see How is a PESQ measurement made? for details).
The following procedure assumes that the mobile station's antenna output is connected to the test set's front-panel RF IN/OUT connector.

Trigger Arm

If the
Trigger Arm
is set to
Continuous,
the measurement began executing as soon as you initialize the measurement. If
single
is selected in the
Trigger Arm
field, you need to press the
START SINGLE
to trigger each measurement.
A single PESQ measurement will cost more than 10 seconds to be completed. If you want to set a mesurement timeout, make sure the
Measurement Timeout
is set to a value more than that time.
