Probe Sequence Max

Probe Sequence Max

Last updated: May 24, 2006

Probe sequence max represents the maximum number of probes in a single access attempt.

Probe sequence max is sent in the Configuration Request message (see TAP/ETAP Data Connection Call Flow ).

Probe sequence max is a "Configurable Attribute" that is configured during the Session Negotiate State . Its value can not be changed when a session is open and Call Limit Mode is on. If probe sequence max is changed when a connection is open, the connection will be closed. You will have to re-open the connection.
